To all family members who came to share the joy of friendship and kinship.Thank you! All the planning in the world would not have made this day if YOU had not come.To those who brought documents, pictures, artifacts, thank you for sharing!!Great Grandma's hand made rolling pin, her little purse, her beads, picture, letter written to her, Great Grandpa's pictures, his brother's picture, Andrew Lewis who fought in the Civil War were just a few things which brought tears to more than one. We believe we had 200-250 in attendance as several did not register. Eleven states were representated with those who did register.Tentatively, our next reunion is set for the second weekend in June of 2002. MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW.Most of us had never met prior to this reunion. What a good time we had in getting to know one another. We had food for 4 times the number we had, that says a lot about our SIAS family.GENEROUS! and you were in more ways than one. The oldest in attendance was 92 years old.We concluded, this reunion was a BIG SUCCESS. Again,Thank YOU.
