I find that Peter and Mary Sides appear in every census from 1850 to 1900, consistently, in Bainbridge, Conoy twp, Pennsylvania. One of their children is George S. Sides, and Peter (age 85) is listed with George S. Sides and his family in 1910. Also listed with the Peter and Mary Sides family in 1850 is a 57-year-old Mary Sides, who must be Peter's mother, and a couple of younger Sides who may be his siblings: Mary and Henry. In 1850, his own children are much younger. If anyone is interested, I can look up the details. So far, I have only actually looked up the 1850 and the 1880 entries. I noted the rest in an index.
This Peter Sides appears to have been born about 1824, which makes him a few years older than I thought the Peter Sides I was looking for. Perhaps he is a cousin? The Peter Sides I am searching for is the son of John and Sarah (Barr) Sides, and the grandson of Peter Sides, all of Lancaser Co, PA.
