Hi there, While my mother and I were digging through some stuff, I came across this obit notice.I thought that it might have some data that may assist somebody in their reconstructions. I do not know the date of the newspaper, it was probably in the mid 1940's.All I have is the 'scrap' torn out with the obit on it.This is the info exactly as it appears.
LORIS SIFFORD SERVICES TO BE CONDUCTED FRIDAY Services for Loris Sifford, 71, 1422 E. Sixty-fourth St., who died tuesday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Moore's Memory chapel by Rev. James L. Cottrell, Southminster United Presbyterian church pastor.Interment will be in Memorial Park. Mr. Sifford, a patrolman on the police department in 1929 and 1930, had been a Tulsan since 1925.He farmed near Skiatook from 1938 until retiring in 1947.He had resided here with a niece, Mrs. Fae Coley. Three other nieces, Mrs. Ruth Conner, Turley, Mrs. Mary Garrison, Bonham, Texas and Mrs. Fred Burr, Huntington Park, Cal., and a nephew, Dee Sifford, Bonham also survive.
