Frederick Siler who married Mary Watts is the son of Plikard Detrich Siler. The Siler Book by Theo Siler says "According to the 1790 census of Chatham County, Frederick was married and had children, but we do not know their names, nor the name of their mother.
I have Frederick's dates as born about 1757 and died 1826.
Someone on the Siler Forum states the following:"Interested in information on Mary Watts (dau of Benjamin Watts and Frances "Frankey" Teague of Chatham and Randolph County NC area), who married Frederick Siler. Believe she was born ca 1770. I descend from her sister Elizabeth Watts who married Jacob McDaniel. Trish Elliott-Kashima"You could look this up and contact this lady and maybe get more from her.
Frederick's siblings were Phillip, born 1745 PA;Weimer, Born 1755 PA;John, born 1756 VA;Mary, born 1750 PA; Esther, born about 1752 PA or VA; Margaret, born 1760 VA; Plikard D. Jr., born 1763 VA/NC; & Jacob O. born 1770 in NC; Elizabeth born 1788 NC.These names are from the Siler Book.
Plikard Sr. and his wife Elizabeth Hartzoe came to PA from Germany in about 1741, left PA and came to VA about 10 years later remaining there until about 1762 or 63 when they left and came to Chatham County, NC. I'm sure these dates have been determined by the land grants or deeds they had. You can determine the birth dates of the children by this.
I have Mary Watts born July 14, 1770 and died October 10, 1856 in Tipton Co., TN.I don't know where I got this as I failed to write it in their notes.
Remember, I haven't documented this information. It is from other people and from the Siler Book.
