According to William Reid's 'The Loyalists in Ontario', Mary SIPES was the d/o of Jacob SIPES, U.E. (Butler's Rangers) and Catharine WILLIAMS, (d/o Frederick WILLIAMS,U.E.)and Enoch CORNELL was a resident of Beverly at the time that Mary filed her petition for her 200 acres as the Daughter of a United Empire Loyalist (DUE).The Order-in-Council granting her this land was dated 13 June 1833.
Hope this helps.Andrew SIPES, who was likely a brother or cousin of Jacob's is my 3g-grandfather.
