Yes the book does talk about Joesph Sippy Jr. b. Mar 7, 1791 Harper's Ferry, Jefferson Co., WV. He was a Doctor and served during the war of 1812. He married Martha Cogswell. He is one of the co-founders of Newark, IN. The towns name was later changed to what Akron, IN today. He also founded Neptune, Richland, Co., WI. That town no longer exist. Joesph Jr. had thirteen children: Minerva, Hannah, Joesph, Elizabeth, William, Martha, Lydia, Prisilla, Mary, Roxana, Rebecca, Thomas, and a daughter born dead.
