Hi Carol--A man named Jacob Sivia {also spelled Sivey, Siva, Sevy, etc.}, came to Union County, Illinois in the early 1800's.He had 2 sons & 1 daughter. One of the sons was James Martin Sivia, born in 1820.He & his wife, Pheribee Pender, had several children. One son was named James Marion Sivia, who was born July 8, 1854, & died December 10, 1930.He was married to Angeline Dotson. They moved to Oklahoma. They had several children, one of whom was a son named Roma Sivia, born in 1887.He married Mary Bessie Guynn. They also had several children, one of whom was a daughter named Lucille Geneve Sivia, born 1921, & died this year.Lucille married Willie Arlie Rowe, & they had at least one son named Jerry Rowe.I have corresponded with Jerry by E-Mail, & also with some of the Guynn descendants.I have much more on the Sivia family, as James Martin's brother, John Franklin Sivia, was one of my maternal great grandfathers.I will be glad to send you more info if you would like. Also I will find Jerry Rowe's E-Mail addres & send it along to you separately. My E-Mail address is [email protected] me know that you get this okay.
