From Marriage Bonds of Henrico County, Virginia, 1782 - 1853,page 137, "Rice, Randolph, to Polly R. Sneed.Robert Sneed, surety. 9 Aug 1815.
There's obviously some connection between Robert and Polly Sneed, but I've nothing that describes it further.
There's also this from Rootsweb which puts an interesting turn on the relationship between William, Charles, and Robert Sneed: ------------------------ Henrico County, VA - Will: William Sneed, 1777
Will of William Sneed of Henrico Co. Virginia:

Executors: wife and son Robert. dated Feb 5, 1777 Witnesses:Jonathan Bridgewater, Annis Bridgewater, William Bridgewater Recorded June 2, 1783 with Barret Price security. Tidewater Va Families, Vol 6 No. 2 page 98
(Other documentation states that Charles contested the will of his father, William, and the land was divided amongst Robert and Charles. The will was dated Feb 5,1777 and probated in 1783.According to the will, the land was left to the eldest son according to English law.)
