I'm delighted to finally find someone who knows something about the Stafford Snellings!I'm still working on the militia project and hope to have it ready to publish in the next couple of months.Below is a list of the various Snellings whose names appear in the militia records. Each name is followed by the year(s) in which he appeared on the rolls.Unfortunately, there is little to no information givenabout the individuals. These records fall into two broad categories--names of commissioned officers and lists of men who were fined for failing to appear for the required monthly musters. The Snellings boys fall into the latter group.
