I am looking for any information about Leslie Arthur SODEN who was born somewhere in the West Indies between 1916-1918. He served in the Royal Canadian Artillery in World War 2 as D118714 Gunner L.A. SODEN. I believe that he served in the 81st Battery, 14th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery and landed on D Day with 3rd Canadian Infantry Division at Bernieres sur Mer, France. He is not listed as a casualty of the war, so I assume he must have survived.
I would like to know about his parents, how he came to be born in the West Indies and then end up in the Canadian Army, and what happened to him after the war.
