Eugenie Donato was the daughter of Auguste Donato Bello and Marie Denise Meuillon. In her marriage record her mother is called Sylvanie but this is incorrect. In some census records I have seen Marie Denise referred to as Arthemise. This Bello lineage goes back to Donato Bello of Opelousas, St. Landry Parish.
