MISS IVA SOOY UNITED IN MARRIAGE WITH CORDILL A very pretty home wedding was solemnized at the home of Mrs. Alice Sooy, near Effie, Wednesday, when her daughter, Miss Iva Sooy, became the bride of Leonard Cordill, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Cordill.
The bride wore a white crepe de chine gown and carrried bride's roses.She wore a veil, which was caught back with lilies of the valley.The bridegroom wore the conventional black.
Chester Sooy, a brother of the bride, was best man, and Miss Anna Howe was bridesmaid.Miss Howe was dressed in blue crepe de chine and carried pink carnations.
The beautirul ring ceremony was used in the performance of the marriage rite, in which the Rev. Earl McKay officiated.
Following the marriage the guests were served with a delicious three course dinner.The bride received many beautiful presents.
Mr. and Mrs. Cordill have gone to Portland for a short bridal trip.
