You should be aware that the Mayflower Society has recently approved lines for the children of Benjamin South, including his sons James South and William South who both settled in Clermont County, Ohio after the Revolutionary War. They are direct, lineal descendants of Edward Fuller, his wife (Ann?) and their son Samuel, all of whom were passengers on the Mayflower. This line is via Dorothy Lippington who married Thomas South in New Jersey. My ancestor was his eldest daughter Sarah South who married Peregrine Garland. My great-great grandfather was their only child, James F. Garland. Upon reaching his majority James F. sued his uncles and aunt for that portion of William's estate which should have come to him through his mother Sarah. In 1826 he finally won his case and was awarded the princely sum of $150.96. Who are your ancestors?
