15 April 1664 in Westmoreland County, Virginia:Thomas Dios is granted 1200 acres on the south side of the Potomack River behind the Clifts of Curawoman in the woods.
11 March 1664 in Nansemond County, Virginia:Thomas Davyes (sic) is granted 300 Acres in the upper parish adjoining the land of John Mason, Henry Plunton, and James Foster for transportaion of six persons.
24 November 1664 in Westmoreland County, Virginia:Thomas Dios is granted 500 acres on the south side of the Potomack River butting on the N. E. side and towards the head of Quanticke Creek.
17 April 1667 in Westmoreland County, Virginia:Thomas Dyar (Dyas on actual), John Whetsone, and Patrick Spenson (sic) are granted 1050 acres.
52 (?) June 1669. Thomas Dyas and Michall his wife appoint our trustie and welbeloved friends Mr. John Wheston our attornie to acknowledge unto John Quiglye two tracts, 1300 acres lying upon the branches of Nomeny River; the one third part of 1050 acres in partnershipp betweene Mr. John Wheston and Mr. Patrick Spence upon the branches of Rappak. River bounding upon 1200 acres belonging to Lt. John Washington, Mr. David Norry and Mr. Patrick Spence. Signed by Thomas Dyas and Michall Dias. 19 9br [Nov.] 1669. Recorded.

27 Feb 1671/2 Thomas Dyas of Rappahannock deed of gift unto George South of Nominy in Co. of Westmoreland deeded him 70a on small br. going to the main branch of Nomini in Westmoreland (Deeds & Patents 1665-1677,p.119). Sold the land to Peter Duncan in 1675 all his int. of this gift of land. Signed by George South, wit:Rob.Bletsoe & James Blincow.
September 1674 in Somerset County, Maryland:Thomas Dias married Jane Pelingham. (Maryland Marriages 1634-1777, 5, SO-397).

6 July 1697, Book 2, page 284:William Fisher of Quanticutt in Stafford Co. died seized of plantation & 100 A., of Grant to Thomas Dyos (Dios) and purchased by Fisher who left one dau. who died without heir.Thomas Barton of Stafford Co. presented land to Escheat.Wrnt. directed to Isaac Allerton, Escheator.Grant to Thomas Barton, Jr., assignee of Thomas Barton.On Quanticutt Cr., adj. Morely's land.
12 Feb. 1698, Book 2, page 305:William Mansbridge of Stafford Co. in 1697 died seized of 200 A. on Quanticutt Cr. in said Co. & left to Mary, his wife, whom Burr Harrison m.Land Escheated.Burr Harrison obtained a Grant.Mansbridge recieved Grant by Col. William Fitzhugh & Capt. George Brent, Agts, 4 Mar. 1695/6.Said 200 A. is part of Patent of Thomas Dayes (sic) for 500 A.Mansbridge, Matt: Marlyn, & Thomas Burton each purchase 100 A.The 200 A. adj the 100 A. of Thomas Burton.

Champ & c.Land first granted Margaret Miles & purchased by Briant Murphey, father of said Briant Murphey of Thomas Sturman 26 Jan. 1707.Escheat Grant to John & Wm. 15 July 1728 in Virginia Northern Neck Grants, Book B, page 135:Willoughby Newton of Richmond Co. has 250 A. in Westmoreland Co. which Edward Witherington died seized of, being part of a Patent to Wm. Beasely & Edward Hawley 25 March 1665 and Escheated to Wm. Harper & Constant his wife and again entered by Wm. Harper the younger who disposed of his Right to Anthony Morgan 19 Feb. 1721.Morgan sold his Right to Thomas Newton of Westmoreland Co. Deed to Willoughby Newton, son and heir of Thomas.Adj. Thomas Dyas, Mr. John Whitstone, Patent of William Beasly & Edward Hawly.
This is what I've accumulated so far.He is not my ancestor but he lived next door to a man whom I think is mine--William Beasley who patented land with Edward haelly/Hawley in 1665.Then there is a Dyas who marries a Beasley several generations later in Craven Co., NC.
