I have a copy of the original Christian Bible Will.It names wife Margareth. The tombstone for Chirstian has his dates 1752-1838.Below this on the same stone it says--Margareth.This is at the Gum Springs Cemetery which was established in 1836.It is across the road from the Bible covered bridge.
We can assume that the English of Margareth's name would be Margaret and therefore, "Peggy" would be a suitable nickname for Margaret. However, I have NO documents that say Spegeale was her maiden name. She could have been married before for all we really know about her. This is why I have never really delved into this particular problem.
There are no clues for her beyond the Will and the cemetery that I know of.
Basically I am a direct line researcher and seldom get off the trail unless trying to tie up loose ends on a problem.I don't know what Isaac you are referring to for this reason.
