In my wanderings through the internet and all it's great genealogy sites I have found that there seem to be Moses Spicer's all over the place. I wonder if they are all related or it's just a coincidence.
I have a Moses Spicer b. May 10, 1787, (Bible record) in Pennsylvania of unknown parents. He was first found in 1810 in Redstone Twp, Fayette Co., Pa. with his wife and three children. In 1820 he bought land in Richland Co. Ohio, (Washington Twp)from there he is lost to me.
I have good records on his children as they have been easy to trace from the Bible Record and the various census.
Can anyone help me find where Moses came from, who his parents were, or better yet, has anyone lost a Moses Spicer in Pennsylvania?
DNA connects him with a William Spicer from Edgecombe N.C. but that connection could be several generations back.
