Victor Michael Spohn of Edmonton, formerly of Daysland, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital from a short bout of cancer at the age of 60. Victor is survived by his sister Marlene and Peter Miciak of Bruce, Alberta and their children Jody and Darcy Zwarich and their children Holly, Karley, Dalton and Ashley of Lavoy, Shiela and Rick Kolody of Wetaskiwin, and Blair Miciak of Camrose, Lindsey Miciak of Bruce, Sr. Beverly Spohn of the Ursulines of Jesus, brother Eugene and Geraldine Spohn and their children Adam, Kyle and Natasha of Fort McMurray, sister Elaine's children Lance and Bev Taylor and their children Katie, Laura, Trevor and their children Tammy Taylor and her son Kyle. He is also survived by numerous relatives from the Spohn and Rakoz families. Victor was predeceased by his parents, Hilda in 1952 and Albert in 1995; brother Leroy in 1950; and sister Elaine in 1983. Prayers will be held Monday, 8:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at St. Bonafice Roman Catholic Church, Springlake, Alberta with interment to follow in Springlake Cemetery.
