Thanks for your reply. No one signed Presslor's death certificate as the courthouse in Michigan didn't actually have a certificate only a death record log.So it was a hand written entry in this huge log.I do know that his sons, Harley and Rienza, were in the same town in Michigan where he lived when he died so one of them would have signed it or his wife, Roxie, who was still living at the time of his death. I think if I could find Presslor's birth certificate, which I believe is somewhere in Pennsylvania (that's really narrowing it down, isn't it!), that would help lead me to Samuel and Margareth.I don't think the Samuel that you mentioned is the same one.Do you know if the Samuel that you mentioned left Pennsylvania for Ohio? As you said, perhaps Presslor was a middle name. The other thing that I need to do is get Presslor's sons' birth certificates which I believe are in Upper Sandusky, OH.These documents may give me more insight on Presslor's name.As I have written the county clerk office there requesting copies of birth certificates but have gotten no response, do you have any suggestion on how to get the information short of going to Upper Sandusky, OH?You mentioned the Historical society there - if I call information should I just ask for the Sandusky, OH Historical Society?
