I am not sure about the Sally nickname, if it wasfor Sarah, which seems likely. The Thomas in SC, brother to Rezin & Levin, has a Sarah that is a great posibility. She suppossedly married W M Lynch, but no other records were found for him. Theory is she went to Ky to visit uncles/cousins and, married there. Still other thought could have her daughter of Gilbert ??? or William ??? in KY. Sally's two children were named William and Susan, which do not follow the husband's family naming scheme and makes me think the names may have come from her parents, etc.
Until I find a document for Mrs Sally Spriggs Hannan, I will not know for sure. I suspect she is in someones land deed or probate record as an in-law or something...have not yet been successful in this endeavor.
Appreciate veryt much your looking through the books; the time you spent on my behalf. Thank you. Hope to keep in touch to share discoveries.
Oddly enough, Sally's disappearance is as unexplained as her heritage. Assumption from the husband's will allowing provisions for the children of his first wife Sally Spriggs, is that she was deceased vs divorced/ seperated...he remarried within 1 1/2 years anyway.
Well, again, thank you.
