I saw one of your earlier postings showing your pedigree from Robert Sr Sprout, through Mary Sprout Kinch to you. I was looking at 1800-1810-1820-1830 Census reports. I saw a Robert Sprout in Chester county at West Chester. At the same time a Robert Sprout was living in Lancaster county. The next Census showed a Robert Sr. Sprout and Robert Sprout in Lancaster County, living in apparently adjacent buildings. Perhaps an elder Robert Sprout moved from West Chester to live near his son and family in old age. Perhaps a search in Chester County will expand your search. Chester County is one of the earliest counties in Pennsylvania. being settled in the 1600's. Also, after the estate of Robert Sprout was settled by Joseph Sprout, executor in 1848, there is no Robert Sprout in the 1850 census. Are you positive that the Robert of 1848 is the Senior and not the Junior Robert Sprout? Joseph Sprout, executor died about 1872-1873 when he was about 55 years old. Many people in that era never made it past 50.
