Jeff died Feb. 28, 1931 in Tyler, Smith Co., Texas and was buried on March 1, 1931 in Bullard.His death certificate indicates that he lived in Tyler for 60 years; that his residence was at 702 Social St.; he was a farmer, age 69, born in Texas.The information was reported by Mrs. Tom Sikes of Tyler, Texas.Jeff has been confused with his second cousin,Jefferson Davis Stamps!!!
The above Jeff Davis Stamps was born about 1864 in Tyler, TX and was married to "Reveire? Beauchamp".They had two children, Maxine Stamps and Billie Frank Stamps
