My interest stems from the following found in Chancery Books of Carroll Co: bk 4 pp62-67 1847 Equity 215: Petition of John Bowman and Sarah Ann Switzer, by William Stansbury, her guardian and next friend. Sale of real estate.Peter Arbaugh died testate, leaving widow Mary, who died c 1846.Relationship of John Bowman and Sarah Ann Switzer not established.Property location not established, but was site of a tavern house.
It is reported that Peter adopted John Bowman.

I would hope to be able to discuss this with you as I have been trying to link my ancesstral line and the children they raised for years.... I think your work holds the key to Sarah Ann Switzer's mother, Elizabeth, and if they are both related to Isaac...
