Just to mention, that the name Starbuck originates from the town of Starbeck, in the county of Yorkshire. Beck means river. Of course the pronunciation got lost in time until it changed to Buck.
After reading the book Moby Dick, the first mate was called Starbuck and that there is a volcanic outcrop in the Pacific again with the same name.
