I would be very interested in anything you can add about the family of Tryphena FREEMAN & Phine[h]as STARK.
Phineas was born ca. 1758 in Hebron, CT.Tombstone at Lyme, NH, says he d. 27 Feb. 1832, aged 74.He was son of Moses STARK & Elisabeth/Elizabeth HOLDRIDGE/HOLDRE[D]GE.
Moses STARK was of Hebron, CT, per deed of 11 Feb. 1772, to one share of land in theLyme, Grafton, NH.
On 10 Feb. 1788, Moses STARK, yeoman of Lyme, deeded to son Phineas, Book 32, p. 236.
Phineas deeded to son Jeduthan F., 2 July 1828, Book 113, p. 176, Lyme, NH, reserving part of the dwelling for unmarried daughters, Temperance, Lucy, & Jerusha.
On 15 Mar. 1832, Tryphena & sons Alanson & Daniel F. STARK requested that Moses KENT administer the estate of Phineas.
Tryphena FREEMAN (17 Aug. 1763, Mansfield, CT - 22 Apr. 1856, bu. Lyme, NH) was dau/o Silvanus FREEMAN & Mary DUNHAM.She received Bounty Land Warrant 11094, for Revolutionary service of Phineas, 24 July to 24 Sep. 1777, under Capt. Jeremiah POST,Lt/Capt. Jabez VAUGHN, & General John STARK, at Stillwater & Bennington.
On the 1800 census, household of Phinehas STARK included one male under ten, one male 10 - 16, one male 26 - 45; three females under ten, and one female 26 to 45 [Tryphena].
I think Phineas & Tryphena had three sons and four daughters.
Alanson (1788 - Mar. 1857) m. 1819, Orford, Mary Barbour MANN; m2. 1839, Mary J. PIERCE.He was 62 in 1850, would have been the male over ten in 1800.
Jeduthan (1790+ [under 10 in 1800] - Jan. 1831, Lyme) m. Sarah [MARSHALL?]
