Although I do not carry the Stavely name (and have never), my grandmother on my Father's side was was Carrie Stavely and married James A. Garfield Markin.My grandmother on my Mother's side was Freda Stavely and married Eldridge Lynn.They are both decreased, but were distantly related through Isaac Stavely of Stewart Co. TN, who served in the War of 1812.

Daddy's info is included in the Markin tree, but was not updated with offspring or spouse. Also, he was a carpenter by trade and worked for a number of years for the Tennessee Valley Authority. He loved his farm outside Tennessee Ridge, and spent his retirement years there. He died of pancreatic cancer following a 7 month illness.
Mom is still living in Tennessee Ridge and is a housewife, having retired from farming.
I have two sisters--Lecil Annette Markin Baggett,(Anne) born 3-27-1943 and Dorothy Faye Markin Tefft (Faye) born 10-8-1945.
Anne lives in Tenn Ridge, TN, as does my mother. Anne is an elected official in Houston County (I'm not sure of the title). Anne has 2 daughters and a son, names Melinda Jo Baggett Shires Tefft, Tiffany ? Baggett ?, and Randy Thomas Baggett, Jr. They have kids, but I'm not sure how many each has. I think it is 3, 2, 1
Faye lives in Waverly, TN and works in the family business, D&C Auto Parts, in Waverly. She married Carmon Ray Tefft of Erin, TN. When she was in her late teens, she married Lewis Boone and had a son, Bryan Todd. They were divorced shortly thereafter. Todd was adopted by Carmon and they had another son, Timothy Mark Tefft. Mark has a son, Blake. Todd has an adopted daughter.
I live in VA, with my husband, Christopher Emmett Edwards and work in the Congressional Budget Office. No kids.
