Bobbi: I am also descended from Peter and Catherine Steffey. My line comes down from William A. who was second born. Do you have any information on Peter's ancestors? I cannot find a link here in Pennsylvania where he was born but met Catherine in Maryland. FYI-Catherine's father, Jonathan Tritle fought in the Revolutionary War at Valley Forge, PA and our family purchased a stone inscribed with his information that is inside the Chapel to the left of the doorway. I would appreciate any information that you have. Peter and Catherine had a huge family--17 kids. Jean
