I am looking for information on Charles Stein, born April 21, 1879 in Russia, and died May 14, 1930 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
Per oral family history, Charles got a job on a merchant ship, which he jumped while it was in Lake Superior. I have not been able to find an immigration record for him, nor can I find him on the 1900 census.
He appears in Chicago in February of 1902, where he married my GGrandmother, Clara Seeberg. They then moved to Minnesota, had 2 daughters - Frances and Lillian, and them moved to Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Charles and Clara divorced, and Charles married Lucy McMillan. Charles and Lucy made their home in McKeesport, and together they had 8 more children. They were also very active in the B Nai Israel Temple.
Per Oral history, Charles owned an upscale clothing store in McKeesport. It is also believed he may have had a brother who owned a junk yard in Canton, Ohio. Any help will be much appreciated as I have not been able to find his parents or siblings.
