In my STILL/STELLE line, I have Alonzo Randolph Camp (ARC) GREENE m. in Union Par. LA after the Civil War to Susan Hay JOHNSON, dau. of Amanda STILL mar. to William M. JOHNSON (as mentioned in the extensive research posted by another). Bartholomew STILL's family with Wm. and Amanda can be found in, GA prior to Amanda and Wm. being found in LA. ARC GREENE also was in GA, but in Jefferson, Jackson County, GA. His mother's mother's maiden name was CAMP. I have wondered if the names Alonzo or Randolph had any sentimental ties as well. When I saw your post mentioning RANDOLPH's, I was curious as to whether you have any GREENE's in your research, any STILLS's in LA, or any information concerning Cherokee conections between the Poncet STELLE line and the STILL Cherokees found in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
