I am looking for Mahala Wagner (Wagoner) who was left with William Stizel in a 1850 Pa. Census because her Father took the family to Illinois. Her mother died giving birth to a younger brother who was also left behind.
There are three Stizels that I know of who may be realatives considering the circumstances. William whose household it is
listed in the census is 24 years old in the 1850 census. Occupation: MillerHis wife is Leah 21 and a Margret 4/12. There are many other people listed including some other Wagoner's. I do not know Mahala's father or mother. She is my Grt. Grt. grandmother. She married Simon Wiherspoon Barnhart. I have more info. on her and Simon. If William can be found perhaps I can find her parents.
Thanks,
Doug Barnhart
Heinrich Bernhardt - Henry Barnhart - Simon Barnhart - William Barnhart - John Barnhart
Paul Barnhart - myself.
