John Stitzel, with one l, is listed in the 1810, 1820, and 1830 PA Census Index.2 lines of John in the 1860 PA Central Census, and John, age 41 born in PA in the 1870 PA West Census.Also a John Stitzelborn Dec 3, 1886, died Mar 1970.My major interest lies with the Stitzell, 2 l's, as that is my maiden name.Thanks for your inquiry.Nancy, azathoth@telerama.com
