Oliver has me confused! The Bletsoe line is what people on this forum have been discussing(at least I thought). I also think that at least for myself, we were discussing Sir Oliver, father of Oliver the lawyer who would have been brother to Matthias. He was also father to Richard and Elizabeth (who appeared in the same towns as Matthias) Elizabeth is also buried in the same cemetery in Norwalk, Ct. where Matthias is buried. They are not in the same plot.
It's odd how nothing is known of Richard. It's that fact that has me thinking about a possible connection with Matthias. I do not understand why the surname was ever Sension/Sention and how it turned into St. John arbitrarily and definitively 100 years later.
