I recently came across the following names from my African-Americanf family history.
Relatives are from Autauga, Alabama.
Dora, Laura & Margaret Statamyer.
Margaret married Arthur Thompson and they had the following children (Charles, William, Marion, Robert, Annie, Brady, Mary Alice, & John).

Charles Melvin Thompson who was my great-grandfather married Ruthanna Johnson of Louisa County, Virginia.
The name listed on the family tree is Statamyer but my Aunt can have the name spelled wrong. When I search genealogy databases I keep coming back to Stoudemire.
