Re: Morgan/Strader/Lewis County/New York/1885

I am tracing my ancesteros who migrated from Lewis County, NY in the 1850s-1860s to WI. I have found a bunch of them in the 1850 & 1860 census, esp. in the Lowville and Martinsburg(h) area. I am having trouble figuring how they tie together.

Do you have a contact for the county historian? I would love to find out more, since I have little info on this branch.
