Greetings (again!), David:
If you need my postal address, I will gladly send it to you via email.
(And, I will most gladly pay for any copying and/or postage costs that you might incur in sending information to me about my Stretch family line.).
F.Y.I., the email address that I use for "genealogy" is:
[email protected]
Where do you hail from?We are located Minnesota-- in a
small river-town community, along the Mississippi.
Please let me know if I am correct so far:
From what you have written-- it's my understanding that some of your Stretch ancestors migrated from Ohio to Missouri.
My own line was in southwestern Missouri-- and, we know only that a John (or, Frank?) Stretch was born sometime between the years of about 1900 -- 1910.
IF our familial lines actually do connect-- you would be the first "cousin" that we have come across within this line of our family.
Wow.
To be truthful, this leaves me in awe.
Suffice it to say that I am very, very pleased to make your acquaintance.
I will close for now.
Thank you, Kind Sir, for taking the time to respond to my post.I look forward to hearing from you again.
Take care, and
May God bless you and those you love...
Cathy PORTER-Maynard

P.S.
ONE MORE QUESTION:
What is the origin of the Stretch surname?English, Irish, or German??
I know *virtually nothing* about my Stretch ancestry, and am so very eager
to learn...!
