Hello Ms Ray,Sharkey is a very rural county, and I would guess certainly that if Louis and Elizabeth Stringfellow lived Sharkey County 1880, this would be the family. I do remember the Dwelling where these people lived, and played with the children that lived there at that time. We hunted rats out in the corn crib, there were huge pecan trees around the house and barn. They were what we called Paper shell pecans, the only ones I had ever seen like that. There is an elderly gentleman that lives down the street from me that was from that part of the county also. The next time I see him sitting out on the porch I will stop and ask him about these people, and get back to you.
