We are researching these African American STRINGFELLOWs that seem to be connected with Mastin STRINGFELLOW of Tippah CO.We haad already had Pickens STRINGFELLOW in 1900 & 1910. We have discovered the following data:
1880 Census, Franks Township, St Francis CO, ArkansasED 262, pg 10
STRINGFELLOW, L. D.M(mulatto) M(male) 34SC SC SC LaurawifeBF24TN not known not known PicksonBM8MS SC TN ViandauBF7MS SC TN IvysonBM5MS SC TN Harris, RansnephewBM11MS GA SC
further down the page:

So I checked MS 1870. Both Mose Dickerson and L. D. Stringfellow were there in Tippah Co.

1870 Tippah Co, Range three Township five Dickerson, Mose26 M B Farmer MS Vinna24 F Bkeeping house MS Frank3M B MS Watin?/Warin?2M B MS Sus??1 M BMS
In the 1860 slave census for Tippah Co, MS Mastin Stringfellow is listed with only these 4 slaves: 165 M B 145 F B 114F B 1 12F B
If these are Eliza and LD and Vinna, the ages are a pretty good match, but the 14 year old should be Male, not female.
Does anyone have any information about the names of Mastin's slaves thad would confirm or disprove a connection?
