Ben Stroup - Murdered

Does anyone know if Larkin Benjamin Stroup was also known as Ben Stroup and the article refers to him.Researchers indicate that his date of death was in 1903.

I ran across an article on footnote.com in the Atlanta Constitution.The issue is Mar 30, 1904.It states that Ben Stroup was murdered by Andy Morgan and Henry Gaddy.

The article does not state when the murder took place.It only states that it occured on Ben Stroup's property and he was in the nothern part of the county.I reviewed the census and could only locate Larkin B. Stroup in Fulton County.
