I know it's been a couple of years since you've posted, but if you're still looking for info on Benjamin Bowley and his family, I do have some...
We'll start with the most recent (which probably doesn't matter to you) and work backwards towards the BOWLEYS...
My paternal grandfather's name is Melvin Louis Lynch (b. 1925). He was the son of William Baker Lynch (b. 1893) and Elzina Mae Stiles (b. 1893).
Elzina Mae Stiles is the daughter of Lewis A. Stiles (b. 1864) and Mary B. Conley (b. 1870).
Lewis A. Stiles is the son of Gardner Stiles (b. 1819) and ELZINA C. BOWLEY (b. abt. 1840).
ELZINA C. BOWLEY is the daughter of BENJAMIN BOWLEY (b. abt 1806) and LOUISA HOWE (b. abt 1805).
BENJAMIN BOWLEY is the son of OLIVER BOWLEY (b. abt 1774-1780) and his wife Rachel (b. abt 1780).
OLIVER BOWLEY is the son of GIDEON BOWLEY (b. 1784) and HANNAH STROUT (b. 1767).
GIDEON BOWLEY is the son of OLIVER BOWLEY (b. 1726) and ANNA WEED (b. 1722).
OLIVER BOWLEY is the son of HANNAH HADLOCK (b. abt 1702) and JOHN BOWLEY (b. 1701).
John Bowley's father was also named JOHN BOWLEY. He was born in 1636. I have no more info on the Bowley line.
HANNAH HADLOCK comes from an interesting family, if you're interested in that. She was born to JAMES HADLOCK (b. abt 1701) and ABIGAIL MARTIN (b. 1659 in Salisbury, MA).
ABIGAIL MARTIN is the daughter of SUSANNAH NORTH (b. 1621 in Northamptonshire, England) and GEORGE MARTIN (b. abt 1618 in Hampshire, England).
SUSANNAH NORTH (MARTIN) was one of the women accused of being a witch during the Salem Witch Trials. She was found guilty and executed on 19 Jul 1692 by being hanged (with Rebecca Nurse, Elizabeth Howe, Sarah Goode, and Sarah Wildes) at Gallow's Hills in Salem, MA.
Should you wish to receive more info on Hannah Hadlock's ancestors, I have done plenty of research on that. Please just let me know...
