Notice which appeared in the Torch Light (Hagers-Town, MD), vol. XXII, Issue 48, p. 3, Thurs. Sept. 15, 1836

[signed] John Studebaket, Adm't Sep. 8 "
I am interested in the heir named Nicholas, who apparently was not yet of legal age.Could he possibly be the same Nicholas Studebaker who appears with wife Mary and children on the censuses of Montgomery Tp, Franklin Co. PA for the years 1850 through 1880?I have not seen the name Nicholas in any other sources and am trying to find out who his parents were.On the 1880 census it says he and his parents were all born in MD, but on the 1850-1870 ones, it says he was b in PA.Very confusing.
If anyone can offer any clues as to the identity of Nicholas' parents, I would be grateful.I am doing this research for someone else; I am not related, so don't have any other information than what I have shared here.
