Glen, Here's the information I based my statement on.
Perhaps I shouldn't have added the Bakers into that list of people, I found no proof that the Bakers in NC at that time were related to my group. I have nothing on them.
The birthdate given to me for my gg grandmother, Margaret Magby/McBee was from Wanda Prinz, a cousin and fellow researcher. She has access to every census for every state and assuming that transcribers aren't wrong with only my family members, then the date is as accurate as Wanda could ascertain.
I have information that I found on ancestry.com, NC marriage bonds, and a little information added in about my own ancestors. That information is following this letter.
All I want to find out is if you know of someone that has found a Delia or a similar name that they could not locate after a particular date and what state she was last located in. I will take it from there.
I have felt all along that there was some relationship with the Summits in Montgomery Co, but I can't seem to get further back than Daniel, and Margaret isn't his daughter, based on the dates.
I do have sources for Rutledge, Abernathy, Bealk/Belk and Beatty lines, so I will send them if you like. ==================================== NC MARRIAGE BONDS, 1741-1868 LINCOLN CO., NC

so you can see that the Summits and Bakers lived within two miles of each other. Each number is a mile from the next. I can't imagine living that close and not knowing each other, there were barn raisings, church socials, etc. Ali
