Sundgrens of Tastorp,Synnerby Parish, Skaraborg, Sweden
My Swedish ancestor was Anders Gustaf Johansson Sundgren born in Tastorp, Synnerby Parish, Skaraborg, Sweden, November 21, 1835.I have no knowledge of his ancestors. A family story says they were "well-to-do landowners" who disapproved of his choice of a wife (Inga Maja Larssdotter. So, he bought passage to America for himself and Inga Maja (Mary), her brothers Carl Larsson and Johan Larsson and his own brother, _____?____.The group first lived in Chicago, then most went to Elkhart, Indiana. Mary and Andrew Sundgren are buried in Dows, Iowa, but Dows has no records about them except for their place of burial.Any clues or help will be much appreciated! Thanks,
Deborah Nye Corgan
