Ellen married David Vanderveer Schenck 19 May 1824 in Lyons, Wayne, NY.David was b 01 Nov 1798, Monmouth, NJ and died 21 Jan 1866 in Bruce, Macomb, MI.Son of Teunis Schenck and Aeltje Vanderveer.
They appear on the 1830 Clarkson, Monroe, NY Census with a male and female child under 5. (David Schenck)
In 1840 they appear in Washtenaw, MI (no township stated) There are three boys and three girls. (David Shank)
