Selma was the only one to leave her family and come to USA. She did not hear from them after WWII.
Nicoli was Czar of Russia then and controlled the Poland part. She left in Nov. 1913 to come to America, but did not depart until Jan. 1914, due to eye problems. She arrived in New York January 23, 1914. Adam Schulejko, her 1st cousin met her, but they called him Uncle Adam. She boarded a train to Youngstown, Ohio. She visited an old friend from Vilna Emily Kozlowa or Kozowski Packo. She met and married John Zmitrovwicz/Smitrowicz/Mitrovich in Feb. 1914. I am looking for any info on her, her family and her husband John Zmitrovich. Church records, birth records, census in Poland/Lithuania/Russia.
