The story that I have is...
One of the brothers was murdered and 3 of the other brothers went after the killers. One brother, William Allen supposedly scratched their names on a boat. They caught up with them and killed them. Then they went their separate ways and were never heard from. One of the younger brothers, James A. Tam eventually went to Arkansas and met a Doctor who raised him. Later he married Mary Marcilla Sanson b: Jan 11, 1870 in Rapides parish, Louisiana, d: June 5, 1939 in LaSalle parish, Louisiana. Both James and Mary are buried in LaSalle parish.
