I have family connections with Tamblings in Australia. My Great grandfather John Tucker (Wiltshire) married an Ellen Maundrell (Somerset) and had two children, Henry Maundrell Tucker and Annie Tucker. Annie married Alfred Tambling of Pratten, Queensland, and had several children. Alfred was not actually a Tambling by blood, being an abandoned child taken in by the Tambling family and raised as one of their own.
I am descended from John Tucker's second wife, but Ivy May Tambling, the youngest child of Annie and Alfred, married her (half) cousin Beric Hall, my mother's oldest brother.
