This in reply to your message dated July 29 2001. In my haste I have lost your message which was sent direct to me at my EMail address but I remember that you made reference to my Grandfather Guy Taroni, he was my fathers [Alfred John Taroni's Dad]. It's a long story but I can only remember visiting my paternal Grandparents in Birmingham once when I was about 8 years of age. It is only by chance that I have ended up living in the West Midlands and have become very interested in tracing my Paternal line. My Dad died about 25 years ago and sadly we were not very close so I did not have very much info regarding my father's family. My Mum who is still alive and is 80 years old prefers to believe that we are not of Italian decent and as she never got on well with my fathers parents she is unable to give me much info regarding my paternal lineage. As you say I too would love to hear from you and would very much welcome your reply and a possible meeting. I am away on Holiday from the 4th August to 11th August, for my sins I am in charge of 16 foster children which I am taking on holiday in the UK [thankfully I have some assistance]. Hopefully when I return in one piece! there will be a reply from you.
