I'm back again...this time with a question related to the Parrish family. The Parrish family had a mill on Great Creek or one of its branches; it was close to Mason Bishop's property, and was bequethed to Joseph Parrish in the 1753 will of his father James Parrish. The mill apparently was directly across the creek from a Sarah Jones, since she sold James Parrish one acre of land due to mill.
I have seen an online genealogy that says a Mary Tarpley married a David Parrish.Do you have info on this? The only David Parrish I have seen info on in this general area was a son of Charles Parrish who died in 1764 Brunswick Co. David was still a minor at the time is all I can gather from the will. But there could have been other David Parrish's begotten from brother's of Charles Parrish such as Joseph Parrish or John Parrish.
This is one of those questions that seems to involve the "law of spousal proximity" so I was hoping you might be able to help.
