Here is my two cents worth..I got this information from my great-aunt, so I can't say what documentation can be provided, but here it is, maybe someone can sort it out.I have Johann Balthser Tarter (Darter) b. 3-13-1750, Philadelphia Co., PA, d. 1800, Wythe Co., VA. Married to Virginia Magdalena Wampler 4-11-1768, Wythe Co., VA. I have her d.o.b. as 1742, Wythe Co., VA, no date of death.I have the following children attributed to this union: Frederick, Margaret, Johann (John) Peter(my ancestor), Catherine, Christian, and another Peter, but this could be incorrect, or Johann Peter may simply be Johann.
I have the parents of Johann Balthser (Balzer) Tarter as Johannes (Johann) Anthon Tarter (Dorter/Darter) b. in Germany and Anna Margretha Korstin b. Germany.
For the parents of Virginia Magdalena Wampler, I have her father as Peter Wampler, b. Virginia and Mary Magdalena Wolf, b. Switzerland, no dates available.
My line is through Johann (John) Tarter b. 2-26-1763, PA, d. before June 1850 and his wife Nancy Logan, b. 1770, VA, married 1786, in Lincoln Co., NC., I have their children as Nancy, John, Frederick, Jesse, Betsy, William, Celia, Christian Logan, Alfred, Jacob M., and my ancestor Milly (Mary), b. abt. 1808, NC, d. after 1880, Pulaski Co., KY, married 10-4-1822 to John Trimble b. 1796/1798, Pulaski Co., KY, d. between 1870-1880, Pulaski Co., KY. Their children are listed as Catherine Jane, Lucinda Jane, James F., Mary, William, Thomas, Jerushua, and Elizabeth.I am descended from James F. Trimble, b. 1831, Pulaski Co., KY, d. 1880, Pulaski Co., KY, who married (1-31-1854, Pulaski Co., KY)Sarah Whitis, b. 1834, in either Pulaski Co, KY or Penn Co.,VA d. 7-1-1915, Pulaski Co., KY.Their children are listed as Lucy, Georgia Ann, Alice, William, Lanora, John James, and Mary.Georgia Ann Trimble was b. 12-25-1860, Pulaski Co., Ky, and married John Alexander Campbell Samuel Waddle on 12-28-1879, Pulaski Co., KY. John A.C.S. Waddle was b. 6-10-1858, Wayne Co., KY, d. 4-24-1933, Union Co., IN.Their son Gardner Ray Waddell (Waddle) was my great-grandfather.
