I'm a desendant of George DeBolt (Feb 1847 to Jan 4, 1829) who married Elizabeth Teagarden in 1771 in Fayette County, PA.I'm just beginning my Teagarden research...DeBolt's is my grandmother's mother's line. (There is a family "history" passed down that this George was captured by the Pottawatomie Indians when he was about 8 yrs old but later escaped or was released at the age of 18)
Elizabeth T. is the daughter of Abraham Teagarden (1718-1783) and Mary Ruth Parker (abt 1720-). Did this Abraham Teagarden serve in the Rev War?I've also seen that his son, Abraham T. served. I'm trying to find record for DAR research. Many thanks for any leads on this.
