Patricia - sorry I never got back with you!Don't believe we made any Dean discoveries --- however, we did uncover a big mystery at the Staunton, VA library about Eleanor's brother William Teas. There were conflicting stories of his wife Mary's name -- either Henderson or Reid.We discovered he was actually married twice, first to Mary Henderson and had daughter Jane Teas (who m. Samuel Estill) and second to Mary Reid.It helped explain ALOT about why Jane Teas Estill and widow Mary Teas didn't seem to like each other too much!Get in touch with me at [email protected] if you have any Eleanor Teas/Adam Dean info. That's ALSO a confusing family, as it appears that each of them was married first to an Edmiston (sp?)?????
Anyway, we had a GREAT time meeting each other in VA and got along like we'd been lifelong friends ... which of course, we now are!Marty and her husband Les were WONDERFUL hosts and made us all feel so at home.Wish we could do that trip every year!
Jaime
